Sadly, Alive Video Converter failed almost every conversion test we tried it with, with the exception of WMV to MOV. All formats were either not supported or only converted the audio track, not the video. Everything we tried to convert to AVI failed.

Additionally, if you can get a video to convert properly there are very few advanced features available to modify your file like merging files, setting start and stop times or the ability to change the video or audio codec and there is no in-program help manual to assist you in conversion troubles.

Perhaps the only positive feature Alive Video Converter has going for it is that you can schedule a video to convert at a specific time of day, like when you are sleeping or at work.
